The Composition Challenge, created in collaboration with KeyShot, Advanced Design, and New Deal Design, invited participants to elevate the design of Quinn Fitzgerald's LineWorks Chair through a render, focusing on lighting, materials, textures, and composition.
This rendering project, which won second place in the competition's professional category, was conceived to highlight the product as the protagonist in a setting that reflects its creative and production journey.
The visual concept aims to capture not only the beauty of the final design but also to honor the complex and detailed process of transforming an idea into reality.
The central idea was to create a scene where the chair is positioned in an improvised studio within the workshop where it was produced, moments before being photographed. This composition was developed to emphasize and celebrate the complete lifecycle of the LineWorks chair project, from the design phase to the finalization and promotion of the product. The contrast between the chaos of the workshop and the elegance of the chair underscores its ability to stand out in any context.
